Minolta AF-Tele 35 mm Rangefinder Camera with Standard 38mm & Telephoto 60mm Minolta Lens
Dual-lensed compact auto-focus rangefinder camera launched by Minolta in 1985, offering 38 mm and 60 mm focal lengths.
Focal length is chosen by a switch on the side of the lens, which also opens and closes the lens barrier. Unlike many other compact cameras, it supports screw-on filters with a 46 mm thread. This camera comfortably covers any needs of everyday photography and equally good for portrait, family pictures, travel, city and landscape photography as well.
38mm lens if very fast with f2.8 aperture. The multibeam active AF picks up nicely with this camera, and the flash is also very good in terms of power and spread.

The grip on the Minolta AF-Tele is very comfortable. Also, as the lens barrel comes out far away from the body in even at 38mm, you’ll never manage to inadvertently put your fingers in the picture. Also, there’s no fiddling about with changing lenses. Want to change focal length? Press the button, and it’s done in a second. The lens extends, and inside the camera an additional element is lowered down into the lightpath.
This camera produces sharp and contrasty pictures with punchy colors. Using Minolta AF-Tele camera is a real pleasure.
