Minolta X-570 with Albinar 28mm F2.8 with Macro Lens
The Minolta X-570 (X-500 in Europe) was introduced in 1983 as a lower cost alternative to the X-700. It used the same chassis as the rest of the Minolta X series and the standard Minolta SR mount. The primary difference between the top-of-the-line X-700 and the X-570 is that the latter lacked the fully automatic Program exposure mode. However, the X-570 added an important feature that would be part of all subsequent X series cameras, but never added to the X-700, a match LED exposure meter. This system indicated the selected shutter speed with a blinking LED and the suggested shutter speed, based on the exposure value and the selected lens aperture, with a solid LED. Some consider the X-500 more of an enthusiast's camera than the X-700, since it offered no P mode and therefore required some photographic knowledge.
The X-570 followed Minolta's traditional pattern of naming cameras differently in different markets, being called the X-500 in Europe and Asia. Interestingly, the X-500 was normally sold as a chrome body, but is available in black (albeit very rare), while the X-570 was only produced in black.
The X-570 is without a doubt the most highly respected of the X Series cameras amongst serious photographers.
What is not recognized by many photographers is that the X-570 is actually in many respects a better camera for the advanced amateur than its more expensive elder sibling. The key to the success of the X-700 with the general public was recognized as the camera's Program Mode, which enabled even people with no photographic knowledge to take good photographs. It basically turned the camera into the SLR version of a point and shoot - similar to many of the SLRs today. This feature is only infrequently used by more advanced photographers, who prefer the control over depth of field and exposure provided by the Aperture Priority or Metered Manual modes.

Albinar ADG 28 mm f/ 2.8 macro focus Lens
The Albinar ADG 28mm f/2.8 macro focus is a wide-angle prime lens for 35 mm SLR cameras Minolta SR (MD, MC).
The lens is very sharp. The 28mm focal length is a nice length for the landscape photographer, group portraits, and street photography. It is plenty wide enough for a wide scene and yet not so wide that the that you get circular distortion like a 24mm or fish eye. A great wide angle prime lens, compact and rugged. Full metal construction with just the rubber comfort grip for the focus ring. The in for areas are sharp and clear and the fall off leads to a pleasant, dreamy bokeh.
